The Lucia 40 catamaran is an impressive boat with sleek lines and tons of living space, a design that optimizes volume inside and out so you can enjoy your sailing holiday in style. The Lucia 40 replaces the enormously successful Lipari 41 and Mahe 36 in the Fountaine Pajot stable, a popular addition sure to keep this highly-regarded production range of boats right up to date.
The use of modern materials and constructions methods throughout this boat has kept the weight down and the volume up. This makes for a lighter, faster and roomier catamaran than others in its class. In fact the volume of the Lucia 40 is 25% greater than that of its predecessor the Lipari 41. This extra space is reflected through the boat's interior and in the spacious lounge across the back. Forward there is considerably more deck and net space to ensure complete relaxation aboard.
Wide windows in the fully-equipped main saloon allow unobstructed 360° views, while the opening hull ports are also generous in size. The cabins can only be described as luxurious, space as well as comfort level making these private areas second-to-none in the charter cat market. Each cabin has its own opening side hatch.
The separate helm station on the Lucia 40 is conveniently designed for boat handling; easy to reach from the after lounge and with direct access to the main deck. From here the helmsman is in full control of a boat high on charter cat performance in every respect.
