The Lagoon 42 incorporates all the best ideas in modern catamaran design and the latest in sailboat technology. Launched at the 2016 Dusseldorf International Boat Show, this cat received high praise. Available all around the Mediterranean and Caribbean and increasingly available in other top sailing destinations.

At 12.8 metres overall and with a sail area of 90 m2, the Lagoon 42 replaced the similarly-sized 421. The new craft is the result of an evolution in catamaran design, its creators taking an 'organic' approach in search of living space harmony. The boat is helmed from a flybridge position to optimise the pilot's view. Rigged with a self-tacking jib, and with a mast stepped further aft than on its predecessors.
The saloon-level cockpit is sheltered by a hard top and it's just two steps aft to the hull-end diving platforms. Below decks there are two production double cabin configurations accommodating six to eight people. Extra accommodation can be found in saloon berths. The interior is fitted out in style with Lagoon's usual attention to creating a well-lit, airy environment. The Lagoon 42 is available to provide charterers with a superior level of comfort and performance.
This boat is available for charter in some destinations as the Sunsail 424.
