The Island Spirit 525 was first introduced to the sailing world in 2023 and within two years has established itself as a fine charter catamaran standing alongside its better known competitors. Island Spirit has been in the business for over 20 years and has been manufacturing its boats in Thailand since 2011. The 525 is designed to meet the sailing and accommodation expections of today's charterers and is finished to high standard of quality.

The innovative Island Spirit 525 was designed with the charter market in mind. It has queen-size beds in comfortable cabins of equal size in a range of configurations, all with excellent lighting, usb charging ports and adjoining ensuites with shower stalls.
The usage of space both inside and out is equivalent of any boat in its class. The open-plan saloon has an abundance of natural light and like the cabins below is finished with quality fittings throughout. There's walk-through access to the forward seating area, while aft there's the large aft seating area for relaxing and dining. Then there's the dual-access flybridge above for the best seat in the house.
A feature of the IS525 is its lightweight construction with use of composites throughout, and an efficient hull shape that minimises the power required to move the boat through the water.
The Island Spirit 525E option has been designed with renewable energy efficiency in mind: the company's own electric drive system requires only 37kW to power the boat at 8 knots when there's not enough wind power about. This motor has an unlimited range while running the built-in range extender, ample electrical storage and supplementary solar charging.
