The brand new Beneteau Island Cruising Concept is referred to as a ''monomaran'', a stylish combination of monohull and catamaran providing an entirely new and unique charter experience. The solar panels on the roof provide 30% to 50% of the energy requirement on the boat, and the unique shape and design bring enhanced stability to deliver a comfortable stay on board. 

The interior includes four roomy cabins with bathrooms and comfortably houses eight people. What adds to the individuality of this boat is the kitchen that is placed on the shaded outside deck, along with seating, dining table and cockpit. So nobody is left out whiles some are doing chores and others relaxing. Some of the side panels open out, providing easy access to the water, while the unshaded front deck has comfortable spaces to lay back and soak up the sun.

The Beneteau Island Cruising Concept is powered with fuel but also uses electric propulsion to reduce consumption by 50%. Take the controls of this boat as full bareboat, or hire a skipper - with separate bow accommodation -  to speed you on your way to the locals' favourite places. Either way, this is luxury charter cruising, for now available in Greece and the British Virgin Islands but sure to spread in popularity.
